A friend of mine has sky broadband, and when he tries to connect it to windows mail it fails, because when he gets to the box where it says POP3 and incoming mail and outgoing mail he puts the wrong information in. Doe's anyone know what to put in the boxes so he can get connected.
I have an email address and passwordand cant connct to windows mail.?

Reply:This depends on the account information. Basically, Windows Mail is just a client (newer version of Outlook Express) and it just connects you to your e-mail account.
In order to make it work, you must know the correct settings (ports, server addresses, user/pass, etc) which you can get from the website where you have the e-mail address (ex: Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc).
