Ok, I hate the new Windows Live Hotmail, is there any email out there that is similiar to the old hotmail?

I was forced to move to the new Windows Live Hotmail and it blows bigtime. I'm not looking to move to another product that allows me to check my email with the same ease of use, can anyone recommend a good one. Important stuff for me is the ability to turn off any and all spam and junkmail filtering, show lots of messages per page (used to show 100 in hotmail) and ability to store like up to 1GB of emails. The new version only shows a few per page, the interface sucks, I hate the scolling panes and can't stand having to click on every message to approve to show attachments and content, just a major pain in the rear. Any help anyone can provide to point me to a decent product would be great.

2.Gmail, with 2.9 GB storage (and ever increasing), an excellent spam filter and in-built Google Chat feature

Reply:I Agree. The new hotmail suuuucks. It's so friggin annyoing. how about optioning the new and classic version then people can choose. I bet noone will pick the new version. It is very very annoying. I hate when people think they know what other people will like.
Reply:I too hate the new Hotmail and closed that account. Neither do I like GMail. Don't get me started with AOL or Earthlink. NetZero is also useless and slow.





I've had the best luck with Yahoo! I pay a yearly fee just so I can have extra features. Sure it drives me crazy at times, but it's the best e-mail service I've found to date and I've been using e-mail in one form or another for over 10 years.
Reply:I too hate the live hotmail you can no longer see my MS homepage when you sign in to your email account. so I had to close my account there. Yahoo mail is great. Try using it ..At least yahoo does not delete your save messages as Hotmail did to me I lost all the emails from work I used and they told me someone hacked into my email which is a huge lie. I only used that account for work and got fired thanks to Hotmail for losing the emails I needed to use at work.
Reply:G-Mail is the only one I know of that can store that much and maybe more as far as emails go.





Yahoo mail is alright.





Excite is cool. Although doesn't have that much storage capacity.
Reply:Gmail would be the way to go. Yahoo is pretty good too but nothing beats the old hotmail....i'm going to miss it i don't like Windows Live at all.
