Microsoft mail set up confusion how do i get a email address that works on windows mail, the one built in a pc

on windows vista you have built in email service, how do i sign up for a account because it wont accept any hotmail accounts because they are not supported? please help

Windows Mail is no longer supported. You should download Windows Live Mail. It will accept hotmail a/cs.
