im trying to send a email through windows and its asking for my http.....What is this and where would i find it?
What is the HTTP? When trying to send an email through Windows?
HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol. Some e-mail providers such as hotmail use HTTP to send e-mail rather than the other methods(called SMTP or IMAP.) It is simply asking for the HTTP site that your e-mail provider uses. We'd be able to help you more if you said if you had hotmail or some other e-mail service.
Reply:HTTP (cht-t-p)
Short for Hypertext Transfer Protocol. A protocol used to request and transmit files, especially webpages and webpage components, over the Internet or other computer network.
HTTP or http is not an accronym.
NOUN:
A protocol used to request and transmit files, especially webpages and webpage components, over the Internet or other computer network.
