Running Windows XP Home adition
How can you send a song in an email to some one so there can play it using Windows Media Player?
Simply sent the song as an attachment like any other file..... as long as the song is not over the limit size for attachment..... 10mg.
Reply:This may not be possible . because the size of the file gets so large that , it cannot be sent as attachment.
Attachable file size should be less than 10GB in yahoo account. And in any other accounts like hotmail or rediffmail also the large file size cannot be sent as attachment.
Reply:you should be able to send the file as an attachment, generally as long as the song isn't over 10mb it should go. You can also convert the song to a 64k .wma file that should be only 1/2 the size of the original file but should still sound okay. If the file is still to big, you can upload it to a yahoo briefcase site if you have registered for it. I think it takes 15mb files. Finally, if that doesn't work you could try using a compression program like 7zip or winzip to break the file into smaller pieces to send. Then the other person would need to unzip them all and should get the song!
Reply:If you know where the file is on your computer, copy the file, create a new compressed zip folder in windows xp (right click in any open folder window or windows desktop and go to NEW then select COMPRESSED ZIP...). Paste the song file in the zip folder. Email the zip folder as an attachment.
If you don't know where the song file is, open media player as if to play the song, right click on the song and select open containing folder.
Reply:Hi!!!! Its very simple. Just shrink out the size of the song using some softwares ans after that you can easily attach the file to your e-mail witjout any loss... The best software that i can prefer is TOTAL VIDEO CONVERTOR....
Reply:As long as its an mp3 you can send it as an attachment.
Reply:OO OO I just did this..
I opened my W media player and ripped the song I wanted. Then I went to my Yahoo mail and compsed it like I normally do and clicked on attach files. I then found the song i wanted and shipped it off. If you do it in MP3 format its too big. You can only send 10 meg. But Wmv files are smaller and it went successfully..
By the way, I was a complete rookie at this. I was helping someone out that needed music. He told me to send it to one of those sites, but I couldnt get it to work so I did it my way and it worked.. ( check my answers given record for African Music and ask the guy).
Reply:dont think you can
the song will probably be too big to fit into the e-mail
best thing to do is to upload the song onto a website, and the person can download it from there.

orb will have to stream directly from your computer
Reply:You can send songs in an email. I have done a lot of times. Just attach the mp3 file to the email and they should me able to play it in the windows media player on their computer.
Reply:it can be send in the same way as we send other documents
but make it sure that song is not more than 10 MB's coz yahoo does not allow the attachment of more than 10 MB's
to attach that click attachments
then browse the particular file
then click continue when file is attached and then send to whom so ever u want to send that.

Reply:Assuming the song is in MP3 format and the song is within the size requirements of the recipiants email address as well as the size requirements of your own in terms of sending... For example.. (( Some email providers allow you to receive 10 meg in files, and only send 5 meg. )) There should be absolutely no reason why you can't ship off the song.
Reply:You should be able to send it as an attachment,
Look around in your email for add attachment.
