My wife uses new email format and an 'encountered an error closing this window' message pops up when she tries to access her inbox. Logging in is fine, but clicking on any of her folders causes this error. I use old mailbox and have no issues. Please help! She's driving me nuts.
Using new email format is causing windows error and closes window.?
Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete mail at the moment. I was advised to uninstall Javascript and then reinstall the latest version. This worked for me. If it does not for you then apparently it's only in the all new version. Try returning to the Classic version for now. Good luck use this link to get back http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s...
Reply:It will probably fix the problem if you clear your browser's cache. Close the mail page, click Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Internet Options (or on Internet Explorer toolbar click Tools %26gt; Internet Options) and delete Cookies, Temporary Internet Files, and History. You might also click Start %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; System Tools %26gt; Disk Cleanup %26gt; and run Disk Cleanup.

If you're using the New Yahoo! Mail and the above answer doesn't solve the problem, you can click this link and at the top of the page it asks "Do you really want to opt out?", click Yes and you will be switched back to Yahoo! Mail Classic.

You can also use this link to check and send your Yahoo! Mail, although it doesn't have all the features of the regular Yahoo! Mail site. http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail?7=C%26amp;tsrc=ra...
