my friend said she deleted her windows live email because she isnt planning on using it anymore. on windows live messenger im still friends with her and shes still friends with me. does that mean she didnt delete it and that she still has that email?
and if she didnt delete it then how do you delete it?

You'll be unable to sign in to any Windows Live ID sites or services.
To close your Windows Live ID:
1. Sign in to your account summary page https://account.live.com/ with your Windows Live ID (The e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to Windows Live programs and services such as Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger; Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE, MSN, and Office Live; and anywhere else that you see the Windows Live ID logo.) .
2. Under Additional options, click Close account.
3. Verify that the correct Windows Live ID appears, type your password, and then click Yes.
